Welcome to my blog. This is about learning how to take better pictures, whether you are using a phone camera, compact or SLR. I am not here to teach technical skills as there are many resources already available on the internet, but rather I will focus on composition, experimentation, critical thinking and personal expression. I will be sharing my thought process with you while I composed the picture. Henri Cartier-Bresson famously stated that “Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst”, which means the more photos we take, the better photographer we will become. Keep in mind that photography is very subjective so there is no right or wrong, it’s all down to personal choice. My observations may not resonate with you but it’s all part of the learning process.
